Ok I am doing a rebuild of my computer, just replaces my MSI k9n6sGM v-2 board with a GIGABYTE GA-MA785G-UD3H and I'm planning on replacing my Athlon X2 5000+ BE with a Phenom and get new ram to compliment it as well (4GB DDR3 1333).

Now when doing my research on this again I find a lot of people saying its not really worth the extra money going from 955 to 965 as the 955 has a great deal of OC ability but I'm looking at the comparo and seeing a 955 @ $185, 965 (140w) @ $205 and a 955 (125w) @ $215. Its only $20 and $30 more respectfully for the extra 200mhz and I'm sure it should OC higher than the 955, right? Or is that wrong and the 955 can OC almost as far as the 965's?

$30 isn't much but if its no big deal and I can divert the extra $30 to a better cooler or something that would be nice.

So basically is the 965 worth the extra cash over the 955? And to be clear I am not going to OC this to its absolute limit.
Also about the 965's. What the big difference in the 140w and 125w models? Any performance/OC potential differences or simply a less power hungry design?
