power supply graphics issue

    This guy at work is building a new pc with a pny gts 250, and asked me to help him out.

    the problem is that he bought a 430 watt power supply a thermal take

    with 18amp rails

    and when he goes to score his computer in vista it shows the graphics as 1.0

    is this because of the power supply

    No, it'll be because of the graphics card. The maximum output of 430W Thermaltake PSUs is 250W though, so I'd recommend it upgraded soon.
