I wasent sure what forum to post this in, but Im having a screen tearing issue. I have a q9550 @4Ghz and a 4870 so the problem isnt the hardware. When watching HD video on my 23" acer 1080p monitor or 32" sony 720p tv, Im getting screen tearing in VLC player, WMP, and Zoom. are there any CCC options I can use to fix this? like a force V-sync option with the media players?
    thanks

Codec update should fix it regardless. VSync isn't required for playing videos as they aren't rendered like games (and a lot of content is interlaced so it wouldn't work at all!)

Just solved this after Hours of Headaches...... my tv's reccommended resolution is 1360x720... and Ive been using that.. BUT... its 720p, which is 1280x720 so I tried that a movies run smooth as ever. Weird, even 1080p movies would have screen tear..

    no, it's 1366x768, not 1360x720.
