Still running my q6600 at 3.0ghz with an msi 560ti and 8gig, but then I saw this the other day on craigslist. $450 Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor BIOSTAR TP67B+ LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard COOLER MASTER HAF 912 RC-912-KKN1 Black SECC/ ABS Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKX 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s Thermaltake Black Widow W0319RU 850W ATX 12V v2.3, EPS 12V v2.91 CrossFire Certified 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Power Supply ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Black SATA 24X DVD Burner Prolimatech Megahalems Rev.B CPU Cooler CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory HT Omega Striker 7.1 PCI sound card SAPPHIRE 100218L Radeon HD 2600XT 512MB Video Card No Keyboard, mouse or Monitor No Operating system No Trades
I'd call that a good deal, since the i7-2600K itself is usually in the $300 price range. Video card seems a bit small with the 512MB, but it's not bad. I would say it's a nice one for sure, could use a few upgrades though. Hope that helps!
Nice Proc, CPU cooler and sound card. Good Ram. GFX card, though, if you buy this rig, may want to keep it as a troubleshooting card and put in a diff. one for everyday use. Make sure to test before buying if you can.
