hi guys this is my first post so treat me nice.i bought a 2 port switch box to add a xbox360. now if ihook up the cables to monitor or just the xbox vga cale by itself.the monitor goes blank and green light on front flashes.but when i plug in pc cable by itself no problems.so i have to mess about with screen resolution 1024 by 768 and then plug in xbox vga cable it works.now when i turn off my monitor at night .in the morning when i turn monitor on i have to plug in pc cable by itself again so going round in circles.have tried with friends monitor with no problems.so cables are all ok.so can you help.cheers
It's a cheap switch box, they don't work correctly with all screens. The sad part is that the oldest, most basic VGA switch boxes supported 4 inputs (plus KB & mouse) and almost never had these problems.
