Recently ive been hearing this issues... Need Confirmation

    1. What are Procie Models that can be Unlocked?

    2. What are AMD MoBO chipset models that can do this?

    3. Unlocking will void or will not void the warranty?

    4. Any Recent and reported Problems when doing this unlocking?

-I like to make it sure before attempting this... very Tempting

    -I owned 5 cpu with 5000+ x2

    DO NOT TRY THIS

i was wondering the same things

1 it will void your warranty
2 it will kill the processor or make it extremely retarted
3 you can do this but the proc cores were locked for a reason and that reason is that some of the cores were faulty and couldnt handle the full load on all of the cores

It's not going to necessarily kill or 'retart' the processor. However, the chance of success is mediocre and it can result in an unstable system. Your current CPU (5000+) is not compatible, as it did not originate as a quad core, there are only two cores in there to start with.
