Hello AD, I'm planning on upgrading my Dell I530. The current components that are in my dell can be seen in my signature. I just bought the antec 902 and I'm planning on getting the i7-950, ddr 3 ram (triple channel) and an extra gtx 470 to sli my current one. I was wondering if you could recommend me a motherboard that I can use with this build? I was thinking about moving all my dell components until I order my parts. Do you think I will have an issue with this? On the antec there are 2 pin cables for the power switch, and reset button switch and I'm not sure where that goes. It seems like the dell version is a 7 pin cable. Thanks for your help.

Dell board won't work in a non-Dell case. The Dell PSU might, but I can't guarantee it. Leave the stuff in the Dell case until you're ready to build the new system from scratch.
The Dell's motherboard is a micro atx board so it should fit inside the antec 902. The only problem that I can see right now is the power switch and reset switch cable (2 pin cable) I have no clue where this would plug into on the dell motherboard. I tried looking at the manual but it doesn't specify. Maybe you are right. Dell brands should stay inside of a dell. I was wondering what the best motherboard to overclock the i7-950 to 4 ghz? I'm looking for Sata 6 and USB 3.0. I'm hoping that I could sli my video cards at least 16x/16x or true sli 16x/16x/16x if there is any out there. Thanks for your help!
Gigabyte X58A series will do it. All X58 boards can do 16x/16x. However, you don't really need that much bandwidth. You only lose about 3% performance by dropping to 8x/8x.
