Hello, my current hard drive is failing. Ran chckdsk has bad sectors, fixed and keep getting errors, running slow etc. I am able to get it to work for a while but then it goes bad and slows again, chkdks is unable to repair most of the bad sectors.

So I am looking for a new hard drive. Something that would be an upgrade but not too expensive.

Current storage is 500gb I would be looking at 1tb or bigger.

I am not too familiar with what is good and what is not.

    Thanks for the help.

unless you have 2 hard drive bays then stay with the regular mechanical drive not the ssd drive.
