Hi all, I just installed windows xp on my dell studio slim 540s and im missing like 10 drivers any1 know a good place to get drivers, I have try Realtek.com but they have a few.
I would think the Dell support site would be a good place to start. Check with http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/ Dick
Nope, if u check under my computer theres no drivers for XP only for windows 7 and vista 32 and 64 bit.
Well, I hate to say it but you're probably stuck and you should have checked before you downgraded. Many chipset manufacturers have not and will not be making retrograde drivers for their newer products. This has been documented in several other forums. Your only chance would be a painstaking search of the chipsets that are in that PC and see if the chipset manufacturer makes a Windows XP reference driver. I do not know of a reliable free site that is a repository for drivers. Most of the work will be in determining what components are in your laptop.
I got a program that search how many drivers you are missing and install them for you so im all set now ty for the help
