i just built a new pc with mobo xfx 750i sli prosser intel q8200 quad cards x2 bfg tech 8600gt oc2 power supply 480 whatts 2 gigs of ram 800mhz everything else is the same as my old build that was fine when i do a few things at once or play games it crashed (freezes) reguler stuff isfine but whrn i do complex thing like games it crases and im not sure what new part it is i dont whant to ram some thing that dont need to and this is my second build my first one was fine and im not sure what could be going wrong if enybody can help i would be thankful
What brand is the Power supply? Start there. If it's a cheap tacky unit, get it replaced immediately. Your system draws a reasonable amount of power, and that power supply is unlikely to be able to keep up. Secondly, I assume all this is second hand? If so you need to be able to guarantee it all still works.
