********************Yes it unlock all Verions of iphones up to 3.1, Sorry I messed up on Thread Title********************************
First of all it's so easy that you don't have to do anything, the program that I'm about to give you will do all the unlocking for you.
Just click the "Do it All!" button and it will "Do it All!" by itself.
There are some other options you can choose but I suggest you click the "Do it All" button. The software itself is basically a guide and instead of you doing it all, it does everything you are suppose to do in order to jailbreak your iphone.

    Need proof???

This download is quick and easy just click it.

You can also download from the real website but if you do, it will take you to a P2P/Filesharing link...Yeah I hate to do that and I try to avoid that type of stuff. If you are interested just click this:

    http://download.ziphone.org/

If you are looking for Mac, just go to: http://download.ziphone.org and there will be a Mac version of it, but will also be a P2P download.

    Supports these:

I used it myself. I can confirm that it does work.

Make sure you download the right ipsw for your phone, but it's not that hard. Download it, and then restore it on to your iphone.

if i use this custom ipsw on a new 3gs phone with 3.1.2 firmware will i still get the restore problem where when the phone is turned off or dies and then is turned back on it goes to restore mode and you have to tether and restore to use the phone again?

if so has there been any news on when that particular problem might be fixed?

you will have to plug it into itunes to activate it (upon jailbreaking it) but that is fine. It will activate, and then you will have a jailbroken phone.

If you don't want to do that, then download and load the activated ipsw on your phone

Is there a place I can still get one of those customized ipsw files for 3.1.2 on baseband 5.11.07? The link above has expired.

Also, have we gotten past the issue that requires the iphone to be tethered to a computer when the battery dies or power is shut off? Or is that still an issue?

Ok, so I see you need spirit to get an untethered jailbreak on 3.1.2 and then use blacksnow to unlock. Is that the best way to jailbreak and unlock or should I be looking for a custom ipsw file instead?
