ive been reading all morning on info to unlock my iphone. i bought it brand new from a friend who got it on contract but didnt like it. my iphone is bought in australia 3.1 software 3gs 16gig i need it unlocked to put my own sim in as diff network,shops seem to charge 80 dollars is this a safer way to unlock with no problems? is it best to update to 3.1.2 then use the new jailbreak.? thanks for any info,i just got it and want it unlocked now,i know i should read more info first. the iphone is being used on a windows xp thanks for any help
as of right now there is only one unlock for iphones with 3.1 baseband and 5.11.07 and thats blackra1n with blacksn0w so if you goto a shop there going to do the same things use the same software just charge you a retarded amount of money for a one-click jailbreak and its ups to you weather u want to upgrade to 3.1.2
