Baseband Upgrade DIY?

    Hello

    I am guess this is probaly a stupid question but here goes, I am on baseband 04.11.08, unlockable via Ultrasnow, is there a way to upgrade Baseband to one of the unlockable basebands manually?

    4.26.08
    05.11.07
    05.12.01
    05.13.04

    I am on Firmware 5.0.1

    im afraid not. the wait for an unlock for this baseband is on for you :)

    Baseband 04.11.08 is NOT unlockable by UltraSn0w (what a difference a single word can make eh?).

    More importantly, 04.11.08 is for MDM6180 baseband, whereas those other versions (4.26.08, etc) are for the X-Gold 608 baseband.

    So, to answer your ultimate question, yes you can perform the "upgrade". Just walk out to the street and yell "Hey folks, I want to trade my iPhone 4 for your iPhone 3G or 3GS!".
