as title said, this is a brand new iphone i just bought. i jail broke it with blackra1n but it still required me to activate the phone. What would be the right way to get rid of the activation process so i can go in the menu and be able to run blacksnow in order to unlock the newest firmware, thansk in advance
i fotgot to specify my iphone is 3G or 3GS, the link you gave me was it for 3GS and 3G as well or it is only for 3GS? i am downloading activate custome firmware and will try to load it with itunes, hopefully it will work. last time i tried it gave me error 1601.
i just tried to put activate firmware on different comp, i ended up with 1604 error, i put the file on desktop, should i put the file in update folder of itunes

i managed to fix my problem by using my desktop instead of 2 laptops i tried. I ran blackra1n on first try it it worked, it got pass the activate screen. Same way i did on my 2 laptops but always required to activate it. Funny it worked on desktop but not laptop. Well, thanks for you help and i thought i like to share my experience.
