I been reading a lot of treads but still a bit feel a bit fuzzy on what I should do. I receive a free iPhone 2G from a family friend but he didn't give me much info about it. From what I know: -iPhone 2G 8GB version -Software version 2.0 (seem so old?) -Has BootNeuter and Cydia already on it In the BootNeuter 2.0 screen it says: Bootloader: Version = 3.9 Neuter = ON FakeBlank = OFF Baseband: Unlock = ON I was told it was an unlock iPhone and that is pretty much it. I can't install many Apps since it says I need a higher software version than 2.0. Should I just update the phone to 3.0.1 through iTunes? Or is there an easier method since I already have the bootloader and cydia on the iPhone? Or should I upgrade to a lower version like 2.2.1 or something?
