right i have an Iphone 3g current firmware : IPhone1,2_3.0_7A341_Restore the phone is back to its factory settings and says No Sim Card Installed Insert a Valid Sim with no Pin Lock to Activate IPhone i dont want to use the Iphone as a phone as strange as that sounds i just wanna jailbreak it and use it as an ipod touch cause my girlfriend keeps taking mine. i need help jailbreaking i am using a Program called redsn0w-win_0.8 i load the ispw and it works away and i follow the instructions and up comes up downloading jailbreaking data and it finishes the process and reboots the iphone after few mins but the phone does not jailbreak it just goes back to way it was. i have tried using quickpawn but it says im using the wrong ispw when its clearly the right one. any help, thoughts on this thanks in advance
if i were you i would just download this firmware http://www.stateofthesceneaddress.com/2009/10/jailbreak-all-iphones-with-3-1-2-firmware/ get the 3g activated one then go into itunes and hold shift and click restore and a box will open up and find the firmware you downloaded and install it and you will be just fine its pre jailbroken
