Purplera1n crashes for me. I tried it on two computers. Any idea why?

 

Nevermind, I installed itunes and purplera1n worked.

do you have to update the iphone when a new fw comes out?

Are there any cons with jailbreaking the iphone?

Can I revert the process to its normal state?

Will I still be able to connect it to itunes and dump music, movies and apps (fromm app store) on the phone?

Where can I get jail broken apps from and how do you download them after your phone is jailbreaking?

 

purplera1n wont work with 3.0.1- look at guesswhos link a few pages up on using redsnow. as for your other questions, a few minutes googling will reveal all.
