    Hi Guys,

    I have a 32gb 3GS that is currently jailbroken on 3.1.2.
Just recently my silent button on the side of the iPhone decided to shat itself and i need to send it back to warranty.
Should i just download an official version of 3.1.2 and use that to restore? That way i can just use blackra1n to re-jailbreak?
ps. I only need to jailbreak not unlock.

    Cheers!
    Kenny

Backup all your stuff from the phone and restore it to factory settings and then that way it removes the jailbreak or they might not repair the phone (put the phone in recovery mode and then connect to itunes).
