jailbreaking and unlocking the iPhone Unlock iPhone 3Gs 4.0.1

    I am not able to Unlock iPhone 3Gs 4.0.1. As per technician says it needs original SIM and country where it was activated which I don't have it. Is there any help? Some says it needs to change the Motherboard.

    Use redsn0w download 4.0 FW . Then run redsn0w and point resn0w to 4.0 FW , Jailbreak and Unlock .

    Isn't redsn0w only for iPhone 3g and ipod touch 2g at the moment?
