i tried to jailbreak my iphone 3g that has the 3.0 fw, using the redsn0w method. i got the error 2002 and then my iphone was froze. i treid to restore it but it gave me the same 2002 error. so i rebooted the phone and the pc and i was able to restore my phone with the 3.0.1 fw. my question is what exactly is the 2002 error and is there a way for me to jailbreak my phone with the new 3.0.1 fw. Lastly what all can i do with a phone the is jailbroken
Hi Did you use the latest version of Redsnow, which is version 8.0, and I am not certain of the error that you are stating that you got, but it could be many things. I did a little quick search for you, and the error 2002, seems to be related to the phone being stuck in DFU mode.
