Jailbroke and cydia installed but still no service

I have followed the instructions on how to unlock the iphone but I still can't get service. I have a tmobile pay as you go account but the iphone is not working with the sim card. When I connected it itunes to try and restore the phone I get that the sim card is not the right card. Any help and suggestions is greatly appreciated.

I honestly do not know. I read somewhere that after cydia is installed go to manage then sources then edit and add some http thing. I know it had to do with ultrasn0w but I have no wireless connection so I get get it to do anything.

 

you need ultrasnow installed in order to unlock your iphone. Without it, you can't unlock it.

I got it working. All I needed was a wifi connection. It's all good now. Thanks for replying.
