hey guy i bought a AT&T phone and I need to unlock/hjailbreak it so I heard the new thing is now called Blackra1n my question is that I need to unlock it as well do that I live in canada so I need it to be use on the Rogers network. what the best unlocking software???? and by doing this is there a risk in the long run of a brick ??? due that I have a 3G phone now but I havent unlock it due that its a rogers phone But i did jailbreak it !!!! and yes it did crash a few times but all you do it go in itunes and restore the phone and jailbreak it again !!! question is will it be just the same thing with I unlock& jaibroken phone once I get my new one ???
my iphone has had no problems with crashing and its just one of those things sometimes they crash sometimes they dont. I will say if u end up with one of the brand new 3gs the bootrom has been altered so if you turn off the phone or let it die then it will crash when restarted and go into restore mode. I have herd that u can get around this by turning it on with it tethered to your pc.
is there anyway to tell if you have one of the new altered bootrom phones without installing the jailbreak first?
