Hi my iphone 4 charger snapped at the usb end of the cable.I tried to connect the 4 coloured wires to an old usb cable
red-red
black-black
green-green
White-white

It didn't work for me.I done this before with an android phone and it worked. But iphone wires must be different.

Can anybody help me out with what colours go where or if this can be done on iphone.
Or is there any other way to charge my phone until I buy a new charger tomorrow ?

its charging, all I need now is a friend to call... Any offers????
