I have an iphone and i always wondered how does the iphone "know" the difference between a finger and a stylus/pen? What technologies are involved here?
Just curious... i tried to google it but couldn't find anything.

actually it doesnt and anyway . That's a perfect touchscreen tool. I hear that iphone developers started to use flash for app development.
