I was thinking of buying at least one or two Tablets for Christmas. There's too much to choose from, I need help so I thought I'd ask here. I only want to pay about £120 tops. This one looked good.... http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5073537.htm Any feedback appreciated
If you can stretch a bit further, then your best bet is probably a Nexus 7 from ASUS/Google. Ie, consider it is only £30-40 more, the tablet you linked is quite inferior. Otherwise, this isn't terrible for the money (having looked somewhat briefly solely on eBuyer) http://www.ebuyer.com/392408-sumvision-astro-9-7-tablet-pc-astro-9-7
if you are buying a tablet for browsing than HCL U1 is best for you.. as it is very very cheap... so that you can buy 3-4 tablets at your budget... it runs on andoir 4.0 ICS, so it is quite good in my opinion... btw i'm also using HCL U1...
hi ive just bought an onda of fleabay its dual core has hd connection goes really quick has 16gd built in can expand with micro card up to 32g im very impressed with this one 9.7 inch screen exactly like the iprod the screen is perfect google onda i thinks its the 917 i got. 80 reviews and not a bad word to say about them ...good luck ps uses the ics ice cream sandwich 4.0 its a flying machine ..
Again the Nexus 7 I would recommend and they have recently come down in price in the uk/Ireland 16gb version in Ireland is €209, or if you are looking for something cheaper this was recommended to me the Ainol Novo Aurora2, it has a 1.5GHz A9 chip (€80) I have one and it really is fast and is as good as the Nexus in my opinion, but having said that I know fook all about this kind of stuff
Cheers lads. Dave could you post a link to where I could get one of those Auroras mate. Liverpool area. Tried google like but its sending me to Indian websites that Ive never used. Cheers
Below is where I bought mine and I had it in a week. http://www.ainol-novo.com/buy-products.html Below is where you can see videos of them and the guy who done the videos also sells them flashed and ready to go and he is from the UK. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPNtfe4JwGs Below is the support forum for this device look around as the guy who does the videos also has a load of tutorials on site and seems to be well respected there. http://www.slatedroid.com/forum/345-ainol-novo-7-aurora-ii/
what ever you get make sure its at lest 32GB memory. Its really silly these tablets dont have much memory in it. I have a Samsung 7.7 work Great! Got 32gb and micro sd 64GB. 7.7 inch screen perfect size. Not too big Not too small!.
I would get a reputable brand - Asus or Samsung. And memory is important but its cheaper to buy a memory card than it is to buy built in memory so go that route. Ensure your tablet has a memory card slot.
