I am trying to convert a MKV file with DVD Flick. This file is a movie that comes with subtitles. But for some reason DVd Flick doesn't detect the subtitles. DVd Fab doesn't seem to detect the subtitles either. Do you have any ideas? Thanks a lot!

Thanks. I tried that but when I load the program, for some reason it doesn't let me load the file. Unlike in the picture on the tutorial, there is not a box with dots to the right of the screen. No files can be loaded.
Are ther other programs like this that can do the job?
I actually downloaded another version (1.6.4.1.) and the movie still would not load.
A message pops up saying: Error creating Chilg Process.
CreatechildProcess(ExeName, CommadLine, FChildStdouWr)

Something isn't working, I guess...

I just tried AVStoDVD and it was impossible to figure out how to convert the movie with the subtitles. It did work and did the job fast, but the subtitles were not there. Is AVStoDVD supposed to recognize the subtitles, or do I need to extract them first?
If they need to be extracted, how?

[img]Thank you again for such a quick reply. Something is not right, because AVSto DVD doesnt find the subtitles. I went into the edit title section and it says that subtitles are not present. Which is not true because the file does have subtitles. When I play the file with VLC, I am able to disable them and turn them on without any problems. They are there.

By the way, I was able to install "mkvmerge GUI v3.3.0" and it seems to identify the subtitles.
I have been trying to attach a picture of the screen to this message for you to see, but it is not working for me. Anyway, I am not familiar with this program. Is "muxing" the same as "extracting"? I have tried to do that with the subtitle track but it has not worked either. It creates a file but I am not sure what the file really is or what to do with it.

It finally worked! I extract the subtitles and now DVD Flick is creating the DVD.
