Replace XBOX360 DG-16D2S

#1 23 Dec 2012 @ 3:45
Hi

I'm going to replace my XBOX360 DVD-ROM which is Lite-On DG-16D2S.

Do I have to replace it with the same model or there are some other options?

(I have the old drive DVD-Key and know how to use JF for writing it on new drive)

Thanks

you may get by with using a benq, but no guarantees. if you did, just write it with benq firmware using your key, best if you just used a liteon and swapped the boards out though!

Good glad to see you know how to write a firmware but you might have to have the same drive because i know the black xbox 360 thick and slim have verification keys to verify the drive itself not just the firmware
