Any 2.5" should be.

Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Recently updated to PS3 slim 160 GB (60 GB phat still working)
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: DOL-001 model put in a DOL-101 case. Otherwise unmodified. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

Not true 100%

Yes all 2.5's will fit, but there are certain drives you want to stay away from. Mostly the Scorpio Blues and Greens. They are designed mainly for Laptops and have Agressive Head Parking which will spin down the drive after 8 seconds of no activity which will cause major stutter on the XMD,and Games since the PS3 has to wait for the drive to spin back up.

Seriously? I have a Scorpio blue in one of my Xbox 360s and so far no problems with this.

You may have a older Scorpio Blue. The new Blues and Greens suffer from it. Just Google Scorpio Blue Agressive Head Parking, and/or Scorpio Green Agressive Head parking. I actually had a order placed for a Blue 500gb, but after discovering about the head parking. The feature is intellipark, I cancelled the order. Now, I am trying to find a better choice to use in my PS3. Maybe a Scorpio Black, Seagate Momentus, or a Hiatchi

As far as I know, the PS3's firmware was updated to work with AF drives, but the one I got isn't AF.

So , for a update

The drive listed above died on me after 1 day. That's right, you read it right. Also turns out Seagate bought Samsungs HDD divison, so they sent me a Seagate Momentus over the Samsung I ordered, and I am not a fan of Seagate, and this is exactly why. The rep said the specs should be the same but I think the seagate was AF while the Samsung wasnn't, more information on that below.

I spent HOURS downloading all my demos again, and games, and reinstalling games. I also had sony reauthorize all my video content for me, and I downloaded it. The next morning, corrupted file system. I tried to restore it, but it kept hanging and timing out at 41%. The HDD light would stop blinking, and it would just hang. I tried to restore from recovery menu, but kept hanging on preparing. The PS3 wouldn't even let me format it. I was forced to hook it up to my PC, and throw in a XP disk, just so I could delete the partition. Once I reformatted it, the PS3 was working again with it, but I did not want to do everything all over again and risk the same thing, so I just RMA'd it. If you filter the reviews from lowest first, there are a few people mentioning the corrupted file system messages, so it seems it's not just the one I had.

Decided to go with this one now instead

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a...20black%20320gb

It doesn't have any head parking issues like the blue series, and its not a AF drive which I rather have anyway. I think the AF caused me to lose more space on format than a non AF drive. After formatting the 640gb in the PS3. I only had 529GB available to me. That's 111gb used for format, and reserve which seems a little absurd. The stock 80gb once formatted is 74GB available, a 320gb formatted is 298gb free. The 640gb should of have me 596 or so, not 529gb so I think the AF had something to do with it.

But, I think I am going to be happy with this one instead, I also got it on sale for $10.50 cheaper than what it is now so for just under $60, I think it was a steal. It should be here Wednesday. I can't wait. I also contacted sony and they are going to reauthorize all my content again for me since it was just bad luck with the drive, and they completely understood my situation and frustration.
