I was trying to burn an ISO into a Dvd-R disk using IMGburn. I have bought new DVD-R but they aren't recognized by the DVD drive and it tells me to Insert a Disk into the drive.
I popped in a DVD-R with MP3s on it and it worked fine. You can hear the disk running but when a blank dvd is in there, you can't hear anything.
And when I open up IMGburn i get Device not ready (Medium not Present).
I have 3 Disk Drives:
HL-DT-ST DVD-ROM GDR8162B
SONY CD-RW CRX216E
LV3123K HBL915U SCSI CdRom Device.
In IMGBurn only the SONY CD-RW CRX216E Displays in the select drivers window.
Please tell me where I can update these drivers and what I can do to make it recognize Blank DVD-Rs.

Try with another free burning software. If it fails then clean the laser of the dvd drive.
