Make sure your player support's the media, for example mine doesn't support RW. Use good quality media (Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim {Made in Taiwan, don't know about India}, any Made in Japan), keep burn's to 1/2 the rated speed of the media (TY like's at least 8x, burn for your region (PAL or NTSC). Give DVD Flick a look, free and here's an old guide to look over: http://beginwithsoftware.com/videoguides/dvd-flick-guide.html For payware, look to ConvertXtoDVD, easy to use with simple menu but the trial will leave a watermark.

Yes I agree, use either ConvertXtoDVD or DVD Flick if the file is NOT in DVD files (TS_Video) or ISO format. Ex: file may be .avi, .wmv, .mpeg, etc.

If it is in DVD or ISO format, then you can burn it with Imgburn or Nero, but make sure to booktype it to DVD-ROM before burning.

This is probably a dumb question, but are your burning the .torrent file itself on DVD? If you are then you didn't download the movie/video. You need use the .torrent file with a torrent downloader, such as uTorrent, to download it. If you’re not then never mind.

Since the movies play on the PC, cannot be .torrent files, most likely some AVI that need to be converted, like suggested above, using DVD Flick and such...
