Site update - March 16th 2010

AfterDawn.com has been updated! In addition to renewing the layout of the site we have also speeded up things considerably. The new version has been tested on our Finnish site for several months, and during the testing we have managed to improve the new version even further.

You can now enjoy this new layout at English AfterDawn.com and English Discussion Forums as well! We have also introduced new sections to the site, and re-arranged things a bit.

Read more about the update and let us know what you think!

I don't know about protection on VCDs, see if this works.

In the MPEGAV folder there is a file named AVSEQ01.DAT
Copy the .dat file to a new folder on the HDD.

Run VCD Easy.
Select 'Tools' on the left side of the window then 'MPEG Tools' from the top menu in the new window.

Lower part of window:
CDXA2MPEG, load the .dat file and give the output a name and 'Convert'.

After conversion to a compliant MPEG file, select (s)vcd from the left window.
Drag the new mpeg file onto the lower window and 'Go'

A new Cue and Bin files are created.
Use ImgBurn to burn the new CD (Write Image File to Disk) by selecting the Cue file.

This is the last freeware version of VCDEasy - new versions are payware.
