no base sound in my monitor, help

i bought a dgm L-1935wd 19 inch monitor
its a build in stereo speakers, but the sound is terrible its like your listening sound from a box, is there a settings to it, help please thanks

 

Verify that the bass isn't muted by double clicking on the Volume Control on the Taskbar.

 

i dont have the bass option when i double click on the volume how can i do it?

Try plugging in ear phones to rule out your speakers as a problem. It is possible you bought something defective.
