I really hope I'm posting on the right forum first of all. I was recording a meeting on an Digital Olympus recorder and the battery died. When I went to transfer the file to my computer it was there but it does not play. Windows Media Player says the codec is not recognized. I tried it on VLC player and nothing... Just wondering if anyone has any ideas. I really need this file in order to write up the minutes of the meeting.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How big is that file? If it isn't anything private, maybe upload it to http://www.mediafire.com/ and someone might be able to tinker with it.

Can you put it up at mediafire.com?
