I recently tried to attach my PC to my TV using an S-Video cable and an audio cable. I was able to get it working fine with Windows Vista but with XP the audio sounds scratchy sort of like a record. I even took the audio cable out and used my PC speakers and the video on my TV still the same thing. My PC is a Dell D600 and the TV is an older sanyo from the 80's, if a model number is needed let me know. If I can figure out how I will also try it with Ubuntu and report back. Thanks
