formating a cd game disk

i wanted to format my game disk because i never play it and i want to put stuff on it. when i delete it it says can not delete files on disk are read only. then i uncheck the box read only and it says a error. is it possible to format the game disk. please help also is there a program to do it.

 

Unless it is a CD-RW, you can't erase it.

CD-ROM stands for CD-READ ONLY MEMORY.

If it's a pressed (store-bought) CD, IT'S READ ONLY!!!!!!!!!

it is a cd rom. so i can't do anything to delete it?

 

If it's a pressed (store bought) disc, and not a burnt CD-RW disc, you can't do anything to it except play it.

No, you can't reuse the disc.

 

se just about anything, and fire seems to cure all. I hope this helps you in your quest to exterminate all the data from that particular disk.
Go to the dollar store, you can find blank CD's for about 7-10¢ each.
