hi, It has been awhile since i built a pc and now i am at a lost as to what to do about my cd/dvd drive. First i am running 32 bitas i have for a long time specs as follows: XP pro, xp 3200 barton, 2gb ocz matched ram, hd3850 sapphire ati vid card,the drive in question is an Hp1270 {sata} and the ide model,. the reason i have both is i thought the IDE one was shot. I put in COD 4 which i know just might get by on specs, but had to leave it running at night.....all night! Bought the sata model and command and conquer generals is taking forever to load. Please i hope some knows of something i have forgot to do or some software to bench mark it. thank you in advance doug662
