first off i just want to tell you sorry if im a noob. my problem is that my window vista doesnt detect my cd/dvd drive anymore after i was using it for 6 months. right before windows not able to detect my drive, i download and installed xbox backup creator. on that software it was able to detect my drive but when you i select my drive it looked something like "E:JJJJJJJJ" but was unable to burn this disc. so i restart my computer and when vista load up, i get this message saying something in this sort "window detect new ATA driver". so i tried reinstalled the driver with the disc it came with and it wasnt able to installed the driver. i did that "upperfilters and lowerfilters" methods and still no go. i was able to find and delete those two files and after reboot i still get that message saying "window detect new ATA driver". please help
