I have over 3,000 real-player video files that I use for my work, and I need to back them up to an external hdd (not cd or dvd)so I can keep them safe. How can I do that? If I pay for the RealPlayer Plus, would that make a difference? Thanks

Unlikely you'd need to go pro if you download mediainfo from software section you'll find the videos are actually avi,mkv etc, etc, all you'd do is change the .MIME to .avi, just for the record any media player can play mime vids if they have the codec pack like vlc or klite,to change extension you'd need to use explorer xp (free software works in vista & w7) as admin or unhide file extensions in explorer, vlc or klite should play them without that fluffing around if not use settings to ad mime plugin,as for the files to external drag n drop
