can someone here please provide me a link to or a web site to the a/v codec version 7.8 or 7.9 from cole2k.net? Their newest, version 8, will NOT work with wmp9. The older versions do. I cannot find them anywhere nor does the cole site provide links to older packs. Thanks.

Have you looked at the codecs they have there to download on Afterdawn at the top of the page.

Yes. Only the COLE codec works with wmp9 from my experience. Version 7.8 or 7.9. version 8 does not. I found a link to 7.9.
