Is there a freeware trimmer for MP4 video files someone can point me to? I simply want to cut some time off the end of a video made with a Flip Camcorder. I don't want to re-encode the file. I just want to make a trim to the existing file. Freeware trimmers for AVI files are easy to find, but when I convert my MP4 to an AVI it gets extremely blocky. I tried TMPGE, but it didn't like the file and lost the sound and reduced the quality of the video when it did the re-encode thing. Thanks for any suggestions on this.
Try Avidemux. Leave video and audio at "copy", set format tho "mp4" and use the A & B buttons on the timeline to select the video you want.
