I'm looking for some software that will allow me to me to edit and combine from a nember or soirdes and formats into one video. I want to create highlight compilations from a number of sources inc mpeg4, wmv, avi, and dvd.
Freeware AviDemux can edit various video formats. You will find that joining (appending) files will only be possible if they have the same resolution - and that the audio of the joined files will cause async and even missing audio if they are not the same. You have to decide on a common standard and change the resolution and audio of all the files before joining them. Avidemux can do this using the various tools that are included.
