VirtualDub Will Not Recognize My AVI Files

#1 21 Jan 2011 @ 16:04
Wondering if someone could help me with a virtual dub problem?

I can load it onto my machine just fine, but then when I try and begin editing one of my movie files, I get one of two error messages.

1. windows doesn't recognize f:\Firefox, 1982.avi as an image.

or

2. that f:\\Firefox, 1982.avi is not a recognized % not a valid win32 application.

My Goal: To clean up the 4000 VHS video library that I have converted to avi movies on my F Drive...Please help a novice if you can.

Much Appreciated!!
