I shoot all my trips/vacation video on my digital cameras which have different formats. I started with mp4 since I liked the results but there are few Blu-Ray players that play these files as data disks.
So I was back to XVID, but while I have XVID DVD players... Blu-Ray is the future. I was thinking of AVCHD but I found a chart showing it doesn't seem to support VGA resolution... 640x480... though I seem to remember once using Nero to convert a VGA mp4 to AVCHD.
What's the best course that insures the best future compatibility with Blu-Ray?
Thanks!
