WMV files freezing program on conversion

    First off I apologize if I put this in the wrong thread or overposted but I am not sure where this belongs.

    I am attempting to convert some wmv files over to dvd. I have used convertxtodvd and winavi both with the same issue. My problem is that when I click convert it immediately locks up and freezes the program. I am not sure what specific info you need but I can provide that if needed. Anyone have any ideas what I might do to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Is the WMV DRM protected? If it is, those programs will not work.
