60fps to 30fps Xvid AVI

    I have an AVI in 60fps using xvid as the codec. Is there a quick an easy way that doesnt require avisynth to drop the frame rate down to 30?

    You could try VirtualDub.
    Drag the file into the window and:
    'Video' > 'Framerate' > 'Framerate Conversion' > 'Convert to fps'
    Insert a value and 'OK'.

    Click 'Video' again and choose 'Direct stream Copy' then 'File' > 'Save as AVI'
