Can I Edit AVI Index To Change Aspect Ratio?

Before I really knew how to use TMPGEnc I encoded a file that was shot in the very wide 2.39:1 mode but it displays as a 16:9. It's not a problem using something like VLC. But who knows what I'll watch this on in the future

I don't want to spend another 6 hours trying to do a quality encode. Is there any way to simply change the AVI headers to modify this?
