I have Windows Vista and I have a couple movies in avi but they won't play, everything says they're unsupported. Tried my windows media player and a DivX player first and they didn't work so then I tried DVD Flick and Any Video Converter and Any DVD Converter and Avi2Dvd and VLC Media Player and AVIcodec, nothing works. I am not a video expert, I've been trying things I've found on the AfterDawn forum. Can I reencode them or something? I would like to use one of my converters to change one to an ISO and burn it on dvd. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

That's all it says? Then it's not a media file, or it's badly corrupted.

Thank you for your help, I appreciate it. Tried it on the wife's laptop also and it wouldn't play. Not a really big deal, was curious but can live without.
