    hi

Ive been using dvd flick for a few weeks now, but i've noticed when theres a scene which fades to black, or moves quite fast and is a dark scene, the audio and video gets a bit choppy, but as soon as lightens up the playback is fine.

would it make a difference if i changed the bitrate to 448 kbit\s?

    any help would be appreciated

thanks for replying, i'm gonna give it a go later on, if a videos average bitrate is say something like 6543? is it best to just set it to 6500? also i've been putting 2 films on 1 dvd, is it really best to keep it to 1 move per dvd?

If you go above 3 hours on a DVD you're going to start to
    see the quality dropping off.
(usually blocky scenes in movement, flat textures, etc, etc).
BUT, depending on the movie, it might be acceptable.

There's no need to round down the bitrate. Assuming the program
calculates it accurately, leave it as-is.

As was mentioned in the post you PM'd be about, (from a year ago)
setting the Minimum bitrate to 1000 - 2000 may, on some dvd players,
    alleviate the stuttering.
