Mkv files with dts wont play

hello

i have a few mkv files with dts audio that wont play on my blu ray player.
it's a samsung HT-C5500.
in the manual it has plays mkv with dts.
but i get no audio.

can i recode the audio. change it to ac3.
anything else i can do.

Sounds ok but no idea, free and supposed to be fairly easy to use: http://www.videohelp.com/tools/PopCorn_MKV_AudioConverter ConvertXtoDVD also switches DTS to AC3 but isn't free and will reencode the video.
