i have used dvdfab and nero for years for my ripping/burning needs. recently i have had issues with every disk i burn freezing about 10min in and then skipping anywhere from 1 chapter to a half hour. i have always used the same media, sony dvd-r, always used the same computer and always the same dvd player. i have even tried changing programs. i have used imtoo dvd ripper ultimate as well as magic dvd ripper and have tried using dvd santa for burning. still having the same issues. i even went as far as reformatting my computer and i'm still having the issue. any ideas what it could possibly be?

I will do that and report back. its just weird cause its always the same spot and then the rest of the movie will be fine.
That's odd - something bad about that particular disk ? I tried it myself and it works fine. Sounds like you either got a bad batch of disks, or your drive is going south.
